The infamous "Steam hose" pouch originally issued with the M1915 US Vickers and adopted for use with the M1917 Browning. This pouch was originally intended for mounted MG crews to be used on pack saddles and carts but continued on with multiple revisions and used in service until the very early 1960s. We decided to reproduce this for the very first time ever and made and marked it to its most early known variation dated 1917. Dismounted crews that got ahold of these pouches often used various methods to attach slings to make them easier to carry around the hose in the field and not be misplaced. We personally suggest for ease of obtaining; either medic bag sling, or Musette Bag GP sling. both would be appropriate and fairly common for a crew to get ahold of. It would also be possible to fashion a "field mod" to attach it directly to a M1910 or M1936 belt using M1910 Spring "J" Hooks. (unfortunately, none of these options we reproduce currently but suggest to get from At The Front).
