HUGE RESTOCK! We will be closed for Thanksgiving but taking orders. Will resume shipping DEC 1st.
Correct reproductions of the M1917a1 tripod leather straps made exactly to Ord Drawings:
1-24-14 Rev 4 dated Sept 15 1923 - 36" in length with blackened Brass buckle. This strap is correct for tripods made from 1917 up until the mid 30s.
B109051 dated Apr 26 1934 - 20" in length with parkerized Steel buckle. This strap is correct for all WWII 1917a1 manufactured tripods. (NOT available yet... coming soon)
Of course there is some usage overlap and the best we can tell, B109051 straps made from 1934 to early 1942 did still use brass buckles, but as those types have been commonly produced for years by various companies, we also decided to do the later steel buckle version that has been requested for decades by those restoring tripods.
Since these aren't in the highest demand, very limited stock of both types are being made, so if you need one (or think you'll need one) get it while you can. We doubt we'll do another run for many years if at all.
